Meet the Mamas!
Mama Mary
Full-Time Mama
Mama Mary is full time and has been with the Pines the longest. She is mama to a boys flat. She keeps very busy as she has a flat with some very busy and energetic primary school age boys.
Mama Claurina
Full-Time Mama
Mama Mary is full time and has been with the Pines the longest. She is mama to a boys flat. She keeps very busy as she has a flat with some very busy and energetic primary school age boys.
Mama Claurina
Full-Time Mama
Mama Claurina is full time in one of our girls flats. She too has been with us several years and has been a blessing to the children she cares for as well as a huge help with our medical program. She sees to all the needed appointments and works closely with our government offices making sure paperwork and court orders are all up to date.
Mama Mpho
Full-Time Mama
Mama Mpho ministers in one of our girls flats and is a full time mama at The Pines. She is a great teacher and example to “her girls.” She has a gift of baking and is passing that along to the girls in her flat. She is very willing to help out in other areas where needed.
Mama Angie
Full-Time Mama
Mama Angie is another one of our full-time mamas. She works in one of the boys flats. Her flat is a very busy flat with several younger boys and high school young men. She has the youngest child at The Pines and shows a real love and compassion to "her boys". ministers in one of our girls flats and is a full time mama at The Pines. She is a great teacher and example to “her girls.” She has a gift of baking and is passing that along to the girls in her flat. She is very willing to help out in other areas where needed.
Mama Thakane
Full-Time Mama
Mama Thakane is one of our relief mamas. She works 1 week on and 1 week off to fill in for the mamas that go off for a week. She is 1 week in a girls flat and another in the boys flat. She was employed at The Pines several years ago but was needed at home and just recently has returned to work at The Pines. She is also very willing to take on extra work where needed.
Mama Joyce
Part-Time Mama
Mama Joyce is our second relief mama. She too was employed at The Pines but found she was needed at home. After several years she is now back with us and ministering in both boys and girls flats. We are grateful she is back with us and she truly has a heart for children.
